The Band

The Rockin' Rebels bring star power to the stage with their facinating musical experiences. Each of these extraordinary players has a lengthy & impressive resume and is showcased in this fast paced, highly entertaining concert setting as they reprise classic rock & roll favorites.

Meet the Band:

Mark | Larry | Mike | John

 Mark Lansing broke onto the music scene in the 1960's.  He performed with The El Dorado's with Lamont Hanko and Stainless Claw with Ron Richards. He moved to Milwaukee and formed the Mark Lansing Group with Will MacGregor and Scott Mittelstadt. In 1980, Mark Joined with one of Wisconsin's biggest acts at that time, Keith Abler and The Lion Band (Sunblind Lion). In 1982, Mark teamed up with Raymond Mitchell to form Two For The Show. In 1989 Mark joined with Lou Fragassi, together they formed and enjoyed many versions of The Game. Tony Dancy teamed up with Mark in 1998 in reforming Tony's Tygers where he remained until 2004. Mark Was hired within days to join The Doo-Wop Daddies. Although still a member of the Daddies, "The Rockin' Rebels have all the elements to recreate the energy of the music of the 60's, 70's and beyond!"

Larry Lynne, guitarist extraordinaire, has performed throughout the United States as a member of The Bonneville's, The Skunks, The Larry Lynne Group, Sky Harbor, Larry Lynne & Bootlegger to name but a few. Consistency, quality, professionalism and attention to detail has allowed Larry to enjoy over forty years as a respected musician. The Rockin' Rebels welcome Larry!

Mike Murphy started his career as the original drummer for Sweetbottom in the 70's. He then recorded and traveled extensively with the jazz-fusion band, Matrix, in the 80's. Mike then hooked up with Daryl Stuermer of Phil Collins/Genesis fame. They toured and recorded together though the 90's. Mike has played with many other area bands as well; Tony's Tygers, The Doo-Wop Daddies and Grooveology to name just a few. Often referred to by other musicians as "The best drummer in the state," The Rockin' Rebels are proud to have Mike Murphy at the heart of their rhythm section.

John Dymond started playing bass at age 14. Five years later he was playing the Milwaukee club circuit with bands such as: Santo Curro's New Train, Fact & Fiction, Five Flights Up, The Mike Welch Group, Warren Groovy's All Stars, Jegani, Those Good Intentions and the Skunks.

He has shared the stage with Milwaukee legends, Sam McCue, Rick Jagger. Little Artie, Pete Funk, Jerry Allen & Mike Welch.
